RIBA Stage 0
Strategic Definition

Before design begins, we take the time to understand your goals, site context, budget, and timescale. This stage lays the groundwork for a successful project by defining a clear brief and exploring early feasibility.

We work with you to refine your ambitions and set the project direction. Site surveys, initial studies, and planning research may be carried out here, shaping the scope and vision before any design is committed to paper.

Preparation & Briefing

RIBA Stage 2
Concept Design

This is where ideas come to life. We develop initial design concepts, test layout options, explore materials, and present early visuals to help you understand how the project could look and feel. We’ll ensure everything aligns with your needs and vision before progressing.

Designs become more refined and coordinated. We begin to consider construction methods, structural integration, and key systems. At this stage, we may submit planning applications and liaise with local authorities if required.

Spatial Coordination

Technical Design

Here we dive into the detail. We produce technical drawings, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and prepare construction documentation. This stage ensures your design can be built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

We remain involved throughout the build, monitoring progress, answering contractor queries, and visiting site to help ensure the work meets the design intent and technical standards.

Manufacturing & Construction

RIBA Stage 6
Handover

Once construction is complete, we assist with final inspections, sign-offs, and handover documentation. We help you settle into your new space and make sure any outstanding items are addressed.

Our involvement doesn’t have to end at handover. We’re happy to support post-occupancy reviews, assist with adjustments, or advise on how the space is performing in real-world use.
